Immobiliser
Question, does anybody know if the Gen1 probe came with a immobiliser as standard or a aftermarket immobiliser, and if standard does anybody know how the bypass it

Re: Immobiliser
I think your immobiliser is an ‘aftermarket market one’.
I have a look in my Hayes book of lies, for the GEN 1.

Re: Immobiliser
Do you have a fob with the Gen1 that you can show us a picture?
have you looked for any box under the dash or bonnet that might give you a clue?

Re: Immobiliser
It's not a fob as we know it,
There is a connection point near the handbrake with a flashing light (or not as it now)
A little fob type which you have to put on the point near the handbrake and wait for the light to go out, then put the key in the ignition and start the car.
Here are the pic's

And now the pic of the control unit

The strange thing is the immobiliser isn't flashing, the only things working a few the head lights nothing else is apparently working
So is the a immobiliser control unit fault or have I got a bigger issue
I don't have Fraser's contact number, sent him a pm but no reply

Re: Immobiliser
I had a similar thing on another car, so would guess at it being aftermarket…..
But what and how they are wired is anyones guess….
