This car is a early car, 95 N plated and bump strips on wings
It has fully painted mirrors and the temic system
I recon its a crossover probe

Sounds like it, maybe a replacement wheel it looks in good condition

If that is a picture of your engine bay, then you should have cruise, because you have the control unit under the bonnet, it’s between the IM and Passenger front top mount, it has a silver top.

So, your going to need an steering wheel Air Bag with buttons . To start with, & hope all the wiring is there.

Suspect aftermarket wheel was added at some time and airbag was linked out and then
was removed and a Oem wheel was added minus cruise buttons
