That's what it looks like to me Dunc. Someone has asked for the rails off the old MX6 seats on the FB Page so I'll see what they say.

Have spare MX6 seat here any pic,s of your problem and will take this one apart
the seat pads all come off /plus the rear up apart on a Probe so should be the same

Hi Kev,
Seat out of car  as you slide the seat along the runners there's a stopper  like a brass lug front and back which prevents the metal work of the seat being removed from the runner.
