Early car S1 dizzy No chip key :!:

I’ll have a look when I get into work. The lady I got the car off had a spare key made for the car, but no chip in it. So I could open the doors and start the car, but the immobiliser
Light would kick in. She said there was a key but no fob. I’ll check the disey tomorrow and grab a pick.
But everything is identical from the 95 car to the 97 so it must be a change over.

Also, my old girl seems to get hot quick, only had it ticking over for a bit, but watch the gauge go up. Are they known for doing water pumps or thermostats? The car heater gets warm, but likes to blow her water out if I open the rad.. so excited about the new project lol. So many questions to ask.
Thanks for all your support, I can’t wait to take it for a drive..
