Last chance, still no start :(

1995
Blue
Still does not start
Ok so my prior post, I had spark/fuel/air but my injectors refused to fire. This left us to believe a dissy issue so that’s been ordered and fitted …
so far we have put in a:
New battery
New spark plugs (got spark)
New injectors
New fuel pump (pumps, got fuel to fuel rail)
New dissy / distributor
But still no start. So the question is what could possibly be stopping my car from starting? Why are these injectors not firing?
My last possible guess is I’m questioning the timing, even though I’ve installed the dissy twice. Looking at the image below and following the Haynes, would this dissy rotor position be facing spark plug 1? I’ve put it to TDC and lined the dissy up to this position. I’ve not copied the last dissy position as it was installed by someone as rookie as me.
Any help appreciated with a million thank yous, all before I admit defeat and call a auto electrician

This is a 2.0L Neil , so dont think CPS is an issue and there is no plug like on the 2.5L.
From memory, in your photo the rotor arm does not look like it is in the right place - I think it should be further clockwise.

As Paul says, do you still have the immobiliser fitted, if so that could be your issue, if it has been removed, then check the connections.
I'm no 16v expert, but I understand that it's possible to fit the dizzy 180 deg out, Kit (Duncan) is your man for 16v.
My only other option would be the ECU, again Kit may have a spare?

Theres a the write up in the Probe Oracle
Have you checked the immobiliser module as may be faulty
if fitted or bypassed do you still have a OEM key fob

Thanks for the input guys,
So crank / cam sensor on this year model is built into the distributor rather than a separate unit. The car still has the old “key fob” immobiliser but before I get to jumping that I want to at least get the car firing first while it will turn over with the key.
Are we saying that I’ll need to bypass the imobiliser for it to start? I was hoping not as when pressing the fob it allows me to crank over so I thought it would still start it. (Don’t press the fob, won’t crank over).
If anyone has a photo / diagram to get the dissy rotor facing the right way that would be great as there’s nothing in Haynes. I’ve got TDC markings lined up and got compression stroke to install. Am I right with installing at TDC or does it need to be at 10°over?
I’ll have a few more attempts with the dissy setup and if no luck I’ll do the moby bypass as per the oracle guide.

To get the rotor in right place place the cap on and turn so facing no1 terminal
take cap off and relocate dissy ,have you got fuel to the injectors
as the immobiliser
Governs 3 circuits
Starter
Fuel
Ignition

I’ve got fuel to the injectors and they’re powering up, just not firing fuel.
Today I’ll get back on the dissy and finally do this moby bypass.

Just to add to Kevin's last post and your own:-
As Kevin says there are the 3 circuits that the immobiliser affects, so it might be that just the one is failing. The write up in the oracle is easy enough to do, all though a bit awkward to access.
It does sound like it's going to either be the dizzy out of sync, or the immobiliser circuits are faulty, some of the contact are going high resistance.
