2007 radio Issues.

I have a strange issue with my 2007RDS.
Although the screen doesn’t light up you can see numbers across the screen doing a sort of countdown thing. Each digit will eventually disappear. It’s not bright enough for me to see exactly what it’s doing. However, at the same time I’m getting no sound at all from it.
Anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong?

Have you recently disconnected the battery?
Do you need to put the code back in?
Are you able to share a video or pictures?

I can try to get a video of what it’s doing, just depends on if it will show up. I’ve not had the car long so I’m not sure if battery has been disconnected. I can see it turns off and on but nothing else seems to work.

Put the radio code back into the radio,

That might ‘re-set’ it

Does the aerial go 'up and down ' when you switch 'on/off' ?

Have 2 units here (2006 RDS )with codes,£51 posted or if you pay postage cost,s i can send one up
for you to try out,sounds like the unit is FUBA that you have, as digits should flash to input
4 digit code the code

No, the aerial doesn’t work either nor the tape deck. I tried to get a video of the rotating digits on the screen but it just doesn’t show up on camera
