Our Clutch has gone bad !

As part of the prep for the MOT, we bleed 100 mms of new brake fluid, through each wheel and the clutch system. The fluid in the reservoir was nearly black
Wheels off, these bleed fine, just one blocked bleed nipple, all of them turn easily with the ring spanner, & didn't round any of them, Result I thought
Elland 57,, operating The brake pedal as instructed
The clutch was a different story
This fluid was black
& took awhile to get fresh fluid though the system.
The we couldn't hold pressure in the system, the pedal goes straight to the floor

Changed the slave cylinder, for a known good one, still no joy
Next step, change the master cylinder, so got a new one on Order from RockAutos, so the car will be off the road till that comes.
Also ordered cylinder repair kit, that coming from Germany ! As a second option
May be only 2 mounting bolts + metal pipe&flexible pipe, but getting to the bolt under dashboard, is a right pain (as CPT found out on the Dartford breaker).
It could be worse, it's 16v, at least you an see the clutch master cylinder, unlike the 24v, hiding under the IM
Anyone else had these issues
