Flash to pass

Hi all
Does anyone have any info on how to do a flash to pass conversion it was already done on my previous probe and I like the concept,and what diode is needed.

If I get chance tomorrow I'll photo where the diode needs to be placed

Thanks Trev and Paul for your help,and let me know what you want for the diodes Paul so I can send you what I owe you,give me something to do while she’s laid up over winter.
