Any quick MOT pass fixes for this
I’m pretty sure 30 year old airbags are decades past their useful date anyhow

It’s thermal fuse failure
Need a quick fix as MOT in three days

I’m thinking maybe the chipped key light which is on for a second at startup could stand in for the airbag light. Wonder if changing the cover with the logos on is a possible thing

If they don't look for the light then you could take the bulb out, but advisable to get it sorted. If you try to swap things around, you will still have a flashing orange light on your dash which will attract attention and make testers ask questions.
