Ariel woes

Post by paulinpoole » Sat Dec 30, 2023 5:32 pm

Well hello again all, its been some time since my last post, so in respect shes been running well :D
had to have a bit of welding for the first time on last mot, but all good now.
Quick question, my electric ariel has packed up, wont go up or down but the motor is still whirring, like the ariel is disconnected from motor, (can pull it up & down freely)
is it a serviceable unit ? and can anyone recommend me a decent replacement please
thanks in advance 8-)

Kev's the ariel expert :)

The nylon teeth on the drive break off with age.
Believe you can get a new antenna, with the nylon drive.
