Thank you - is the thermal fuse code an easy fix / trace.

Sorry for all the Qs on this, it’s the 1st time I’ve gone through all this 🤣🤣

The thermal fuse is in the blue box tucked up above the interior fuse box believe theres a right up
how to replace in the oracle section ;)

Thank you, I’ll have a little read 👍

Is it obvious if it’s blown or a case of replace and see?

You can usually see a score mark on the white cover, but not always you can do test for continuity if you have a meter
to test, its a 167c fuse to replace needs soldering in though

Did you get anywhere with this?
Japha started throwing an airbag code 13 at me about a month ago, so I replaced the switch gear this morning. Made no difference!
I'd previously exercised the blue and orange connectors I could get at easily but again, no difference.

Doing a web search, some folk say it's a Crash Data Memory full. Is there a way to empty it? Surely it must be an eprom or maybe an eeprom? Not sure why it should 'fillup', it's not like a drive a million miles a year!

No I've not taken a good look at it yet, I am hoping it is a simple fix though, ie the blue and orange connectors which I just need to find a spare afternoon on to take a look!

Failing that I'll probably take to a local auto electrician I've used in the past when I have changed seats to racing seats or put an aftermarket wheel on without airbag and they have sorted the the dash lights etc...

Can I ask a question regarding Abs light,if not illuminated at start sequence, could this be a supply issue and from where does the abs system get power.
Mick.

Hi Mick
It could just be a blown bulb on your cluster if not registered on start up
power comes from the Blue air bag module tucked up above the interior
fuse box give the connectors a wiggle first

I wonder if this could be part of my Code 13 issue. I have had cause to replace said fuse box and so could have disturbed the air bag module I guess. ;)
