Cruise Control on V6

Just reading some Ford Sales books from 94/95/96/97 and they all say that Cruise Control is standard on the 24v.
Why doesn't mine have it... not that I'm bothered... just somewhere between curious and puzzled! Any thoughts appreciated

does it have a sunroof?
My similar age LHD has no cruise, no sunroof and different heater controls

Steering wheel is an early one with no cruise controls, have you a shot of the engine bay as it may have been taken out
my early 24v has cruise
