Hi

I recently purchase a ford service kit no F42Z 17756A water ingestion kit for 93 94 probe.
This replaces the original seal plate.Does anyone know what this does as the replacement looks the same as the original.

Is there a new bit of draught excluder, that goes around the air intake to seal it against the underside side of the bonnet

No there is no extra excluder The only difference is the new one has two extra holes for fitting two extra fitting clips for which you have to drill new holes. I think Il keep it as a bit of probe history.
