New rad
Hi all,
The car’s got a slight leak on its rad but having trouble sourcing a replacement. There is a supplier showing them on EBay but it’s not compatible with my car (1995 2.5v6).
Anyone know of any suppliers or ideas on where about some to source one?
Thanks

Re: New rad
Can you share a link, plus does it need to be new, as someone might have a 2nd hand one?Mondeo55 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 3:10 pmHi all,

Re: New rad
Second hand could be an option though I’d prefer new as I’d imagine most rads could be of an age by now.
Link below, messaged seller as per listing instructions and says it’s not compatible

Re: New rad
It's the right one , but as Trev says, source a 2nd hand one. Or borrow one and get yours repaired . If you were local I'd lend you one .Mondeo55 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 8:53 pmSecond hand could be an option though I’d prefer new as I’d imagine most rads could be of an age by now.

Re: New rad
How can they say it doesn’t fit, when they clearly state it is for a Ford Probe?Mondeo55 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 8:53 pmSecond hand could be an option though I’d prefer new as I’d imagine most rads could be of an age by now.

Getting your repaired does sound like an idea, especially at that price for a new one

Re: New rad
Correction…me skim reading! Not it won’t fit, he don’t have them despite the listing!
Think I’ve found one though!!!
Mines not that bad it’s just weeping from the drain tap but I doubt it’ll get any better and I’d rather not put a stop leak in its cooling system. As always appreciate the help though folks!
On a better note, the new suspension components have made a world of difference to it, rides silky smooth now and corners more confidently.

Re: New rad
Secured a brand new one! I’d have repaired mine if Kits advice had worked though it would have likely been a temporary fix as the rest of it is in pretty poor shape. Gives me an excuse to give it another coolant flush
