Glove Compartment!!!

Hello all again.
I wonder if it is possible to get a new (well, OK, replacement!) glove compartment door, or the lock if it is possible to just fit that? My GC door lock has broken somehow and the key just waggles around in the keyhole. The garage chap had a look at it while he was doing something else and said that it is easy enough to prise open if you know what you're doing (I think he was implying that you need a burglar's tool). I've taken everything out of the glove compartment and shut the door, but I can't get it open...

Hi Confused car, what colour glove box door are you looking for black or grey,

Hello mojo98, thanks for replying.
My Probe actually has a grey interior, but considering the state that the glove compartment door is in, I would be happy with any colour replacement as long as it shuts and locks and unlocks without falling apart!

Kit might have one lurking about, or i might have one in a few weeks, depending on how much of a rush you are in.

Thank you Micron or Kit. I am not in any hurry because the garage got it open when it was in for other stuff to be done, so there is nothing in the compartment now. But of course I would like to have the compartment useable again!

Here I am again re. this tiresome glove box thing.
I have the replacement, thank you, but I can't get the dodgy one out so I can put the "new" one in, which looks an easy job if only! The garage chap got it open and said it was fairly easy and just needed wiggling around a bit, but I got fed up with the door being left open until they could change it next Thursday and shut it. Has anyone got any idea of how to get the existing glove compartment's lock unlocked? The lock is broken.
