EGR Valve

Could the EGR valve let water in to the exhaust and as such cause issues!

Yes Trev EGR valve does have a water supply to the system, of which you can bypass to the IAC
valve if you have high idle,so as its a unit to the EGR pipe work there is a possible cause,you can
blank off the EGR (as many have done aftermarket headers)

Its was USA emission part
