Evap canister

Hi
Just a general enquiry about the fuel evap canister.
Is it possible to use an alternative to the original as I would think it's not possible to get a new original

I have never known anyone change one? I even had to look it up

That's not to say that someone else does know more about them and of people changing them?
Do you think yours is faulty?

Hi
No I don't think it's faulty It's just I tend to read maintenance manuals and look up tech things on the net then on the basis that it might go wrong try and source the part.
