Is this a recommended treatment for a noisy lifter. If so can you just add the treatment? My car has recently had an oil change.
So can you just add a bit or not recommend to use?

10w 40 semi synthetic oil. Not sure which brand as my garage have drums of the stuff.

Correct 24v = 5/30 fully synthetic
