MX6 Flexi Blown
Late MX6 24V 1997.Any advice please. Not urgent as being hibernated end of this month until spring, but I've a hole in the flexy and it's blowing. Will fail the next MOT.

I think yes.
You may be able, to cut the flex out, & re place it with an ‘aftermarket market’ flexi.
Or replace the the ‘hole’ front pipe
Late or early
Has the car got ‘pre-CAT’s’

Cutting out and replacing with an after market flexi sounds an idea Dunc . I'm not sure on pre cats .
Which is easier , replacing the flexi or the whole front pipe assembly?
Re: MX6 Flexi Blown
Finding a flexy is easy , the next trick is getting the bolts out of the manifold flanges intact .

Re: MX6 Flexi Blown
Having spoken with Duncan over the weekend re this, we think the way forward is to replace the lot with a known used late front section. This will be a job for next spring now as it's hibernating over winter end of this month.
