The common issue is a bad / faulty connector on the back of the lights, it can also have the affect of causing the driving lights to stay on. I would say it's one of the following things, either the controller is faulty, the blower isn't moving to the other position on the heater, the cable to either is faulty, or the pipe from the blower to the screen has become disconnected

All of which are a pain the arse to get to (within reason)

Have you tried a replacement stork, you should be able to just plug it in to try, without having to remove everything. I would also change the 15a Tail Fuse in the main fuse box
