Remove the clip, pull the ou...

Re: Handbrake Cables Knowledge
Replace all 3 because the replacements have a larger size nipple to the originals, so you have to place all 3 parts. They ate a bit of a pain to do, and good luck with the heat shield.

Re: Engine cutting out with pop up lights
It sounds like one of your head light motors is causing a short, maybe you have caught or trapped a wire? Can you start it if the lights are turned off? Rather than disconnecting the battery, you can remove the retra fuse (I think that's the correct name) from the fuse box under the bonnet. It's a 2...

Re: Coolant filler cap
I’m not intending to fit a pressure spring I just need a standard cap with a good seal. I did try the spring type, it fitted but was loose and didn’t make a seal. Ah I see, i misread your post. Follow what malcolm said then. There are a couple of MX6's on Ebay at present that you could get the reg ...

Re: Coolant filler cap
Does anyone know where I can get a coolant filler cap? The one for the top of the engine that doesn’t have the pressure release spring. Mine got fried when the engine overheated. If I can’t get a new one does anyone know where I can get an old one to modify and put a new seal in it? Thanks Kevin ht...

Re: Immobiliser issues
Alfie,
Does yours have a Bosch immobiliser, as I thought it was a later model, that has the chipped key?
You may find that it could be the CPS plug, that you just need to pull apart, give it a bit of a clean ( blown in it) and put it back together, or it could be the distributor
