Steering locking issue

Just noticed that the central locking is not working on my 1996 24v Probe. After taking the key out of the ignition, I turn the wheel to lock it but it does not lock. What could the problem be? Anyone know. Is this a MOT failure?

Probe starting to make whining noise.

Just put my 24v Probe in my garage and noticed a whining noise when reversing, not going forward. Any ideas? Thought it might be brake issue.

24v rad. It was fairly cheap and part of a deal with other parts.

Radiator and oil

About to purchase a second hand radiator and it has oil on it on the outside. Seller has sent photos of the coolant and it looks ok.
No oil in the radiator itself. Would there be any issues with oil on the radiator on the outside?

Same part number , make unknown .
Had a alternator fitted. So will pass this time but might be back in the future. Thanks for your response.

“Put a volt meter across the Terminals if you have one,the reading should be 14./14.5 running”.

No light comes on on the dash.

The volt meter registers 11.8 only when running.
