Thanks for the help
Just to clarify is it possible as per micron to replace the filter without receiving the fuel pressure.

Fuel filter
Ford Probe 1994 2.0
Hi
When replacing the fuel filter. To receive the fuel pressure is it better to remove the petrol pump relay and then start the engine or start the engine and then remove relay.Or does it not matter which way it's done.

Re: Fuel filter
Hi
Thanks for that
When I looked at the filter it appeared to be hanging loose ie no bracket.
Do you have a spare bracket that I could purchase
Thanks

Re: Cam Belt
Hi
Regarding timing belts.
Is there a shelf life for timing belts and if so is there any way of identifying the age of a belt.

Cam Belt
Ford Probe 1994 2.0
Hi
Can anyone recommend a supplier for a cambelt. I bought one online which turned out to be 20 years old. I realise now that these belts have a shelf life. I can buy one from rock auto but wondered if there was a supplier in the UK.
Thanks

Re: Lazy rev counter
According to the wiring diagram the rec counter is connected to the ignition coil in the distributor. So I'd think that the problem is with the ignition coil especially as it happens more when warm.
Hope this helps
