Re: Blocked brake pipe

I just tested it and I get fluid from both of the inputs and the outputs. I also tried at the unions on the bulkhead for the rear brakes, is it a balance valve?

So the next job will have to be trying to blow through the blocked line.

Re: Blocked brake pipe

Hi micron, If it's a problem with the ABS pump can they be reconditioned? A had a quick look on the internet and can't see any new. I had suspected some problem with the ABS because once when i did have to brake hard the front left wheel locked, this is part of the reason why i'm giving the brakes a...

Blocked brake pipe

Hi, I've been servicing my brakes and got to flushing through the brake fluid. I started at the rear right with a vacuum bleeder but it hardly pulled out any fluid so I did it the old fashioned way but the fluid was flowing real slow and there was resistance on the pedal. I moved to the other side a...

Re: Under arch painting

I already did strip it off. It shouldn’t have reacted but you’re right that something went wrong.

Track control arms and bushes

Hi guys, I’m thinking about replacing all rear suspension bushes and cleaning up and painting the various parts but I’ve seen on eBay you can buy all of the different control rods with bushes fitted and they’re quite cheap. Has anyone tried them or seen them? I’m wondering what the quality is like. ...

Re: Under arch painting

I used isopon chip protector aerosol because they had it in stock at Halfords. I would now strongly recommend against using it, I didn’t read the Halfords reviews first but wish I had. I applied it over etch primer that had been out on 24hrs before over bare clean steel. The chip protector cracked a...

Re: Under arch painting

I did look on Amazon but i was surprised to see that the best delivery was still next week. The bank holiday won't help but another supplier has told me that no couriers are offering guaranteed next day anymore because of high demand. I might just have to buy from Amazon pay for premium delivery and...

Re: Steering wheel control buttons

If I got a clock spring from a car with an airbag then that would give me wires to use. I guess the Probe, MX-6 and 626 would be the same part.

Re: Steering wheel control buttons

I found a picture of the steering wheel with controls with a google search. https://i.postimg.cc/bs0G7d6j/958-B5876-1-F2-D-41-FC-9656-629-AED25-D244.jpg The picture is just a standard steering wheel, with cruise control, both buttons are used, so not sure how you will make it work with the radio too?
