Re: Probe Unusable -Non Tickover

Water levels at all 3 points are correct. The MAF ...the black drum thing that moves in and out, connected to the airflow system ? As in, mines towards the rear of the engine, connected to my CAI. I'm pretty sure I've got one, if not, Simon can I try yours off the Alpine so that I don't have to dist...

Probe Unusable -Non Tickover

I know I've mentioned this on another non related post but I'd like this as a new post please as at the moment I can't use the Probe realistically. Re: abs module.

The Blue Box,It's right under the dash , drivers (right side) almost about where the front wheel is. Drivers seat out and lay on your back. 3 brass bolts to undo, 3rd bolt is a swine to access. I've a known working spare that I removed from a breaker , but they are like rocking horse poo to get hold...

Re: 24V Probe - Complete Starting Fail

Many thanks to Simon for popping over today. Brand new distributor I've had in stock for years kicked the car back into life.
Running absolutely fine but still got the non idle issue when coming to a stop every time so further investigation needed there.

Am I right in thinking, you haven’t ‘fried’ the dizzy, because you still have a spark :?

Simple things first, have you the spark plug leads in the right firing order :?:

Kit
All leads in the right order. Still have a spark. Swapped one by one .

24V Probe - Complete Starting Fail

Turns over but refuses to fire. Just to refresh so you've all the information. Originally I had an idle issue that I thought may be a loose plug. On examining the plugs, I've a problem with the leads whereby the lead suction ends have removed themselves in 4 of the 6 pots and stuck around the plugs....
