Rubber pipes corroded ??
I suspect what is being described is the steel pipe across the front of the radiator.
That is the power steering cooling pipe .

Re: Fuel pump
Getting the fuel pump out is easy, getting to the fuel pump to get it out ,is a major exercise. The only upside is the access to the hidden brake pipe which can then be replaced if it is corroded. Unless you have run the tank dry( ?) I would have thought the fuel pump is ok, definitely check everyth...

Re: Body repair rear wheel arch sections?
Such a relief to know it is going to a 'good' home ! I have just been out to look at the curve of the wheel arch. It is an uncomplicated 15.5", maybe 16" radius with a 90deg turnover. Unlike the '50's, 60's cars that had the wheel arch slightly raised away from the 'flat of the body of the car. Migh...

Re: 24V leaking exhaust manifold to downpipe
IF you have an early '94 (ish) Probe with the precat manifolds then you/they have a problem.
Because the front exhaust section and manifold gaskets are not available (easily) anymore.

Re: 1994 24v abs issue
You really need to identify from which corner the noise is coming from.
That's where the trouble is .
Wheel off and all will be revealed.

Re: bad idle and jerky at low speeds when warm
I've driven my 24V with both O2 sensors U/S for the last 150,000miles.
No problem passing MoT , 38mpg normal driving.
Short period at 1300rpm then smooth idle at 650rev/min.

Re: Battery fouling bonnet
Ah, you have found the problem I have the solution too. 18 years ago I sent the drawing for the plate you need to make to Paul Player of the old FPOC, somewhere I have a copy. Essentially ,you remove the battery base plate and substitute 'my plate', it gives the 075 battery terminals plenty of space...

Re: rear subframe
Lots of heat and big hammer will get them out.
Trouble is, you will need new bolts to replace them.
Are you replacing any corroded brake lines in that hidden area above the fuel tank ?

Wow, that's different to my Bosch unit !
Looks like solid state 'relays' in place of the mechanical ones.
