If it’s possible, you need to run the car and look under the dash to see is anything moves as you push the buttons.
You might find that only one is at fault.

I’m not 100% sure which one you would need, best thing is to try and look under your dash and see what you might need?

If you believe that it's the blower unit, not the actual blower if you are getting different speeds, then you will probably need to remove the dash to get to it. It can be time consuming, because some of the fixings are in awkward places, there is one in the middle of the dash, near the windscreen, ...

Your other option is to search for a Mazda MX6 alternator, as that will be, or should be for a 2.5l engine.

The water under the cap near the front on the right near the battery is up to the top of the pipe coming in on the lower right had side of the tank. Both of them are sprung caps. Also noticed that the top hose from the radiator is deflated but goes back to normal after running.

Do you have enough water in the system, or a faulty thermostat, as that sounds like an airlock?

have you checked the water levels? Remove the flat cap ( not the sprung one) on the engine, and check that the water is to the brim
