Lee after speaking to you on the phone, sounds like it could be the Intermediate shaft bearing, checked my stock and I don't have one that is a 2 bolt fixing, just 3 bolt fixing,

Just a thought, are you sure its the HLA`s or is it be the timing belt hydraulic pin adjuster, known it happen before, noisy when low revs but ok under load, we will get the opportunity later this month to listen to it

Yes early probe`s fitted with them but like Aaron says loads unplugged then, or took the bulb out like mine is, known to flatten battery if fault switch

Hiya. My probe 24v will not behave. Went to change the spark plugs and leads to find oil in 4 of the 6 spark plug holes. Can anyone recommend a good brand to use as a few on rock auto? Has anyone got the how to guide that was on Oracle? Many thanks 4 out of 6 means that both cover gaskets will need...

5 years or 60,000 miles which ever comes first, but non interference so if it goes it doesn't damage your engine , don't let any garage tell you it does

the flat cap goes on the filler port (drivers side,) near Dip Stick, water pump

if goes up its not the motor, there is a plastic coil with teeth, and once gone you need a new aerial.

Last time mine went, I loosened the A/C compreesor and moved it out of the way and then drop the Alternator out via the bottom,
but they do say taking the Rad out is the easier way ,
