Re: No hot air

Cold engine , bonnet up , coolant filler caps off, fill up to very top .
Replace one cap only.
Get someone to start engine.
You watch the open cap.
If bubbles keep coming out , you have a leak.
I hope you don't but................

Re: Probe won't rev beyond 4000rpm and lacks power

IF the HE1 system used to work well, I think a replacement module for that would be a simple move.
Then look for an original distributor.

Check for a spark at a plug but NEVER EVER leave a plug lead unconnected when trying to start/run the engine..

Re: Water Pump etc

Makes sense now , if it is the original belt , my bet is, it will be in perfect condition.
Taking crankshaft pulley off without the proper tool , needs a bit of care.

Re: Water Pump etc

Why ?
Unless you have an issue , leave well alone.
I can assure you , original Japanese cambelts will last well over 120,000 miles .

Re: HELP

Seems more like an ignition problem.
No spark , or at the wrong time will do this.

Re: High rpm idle, and bogging out

Double check that there are no little air/vac pipes left unconnected anywhere , especially the hidden one to the air intake
assembly.

Re: Car idling high 16v

First make sure the mechanical linkages are all working nicely and not sticking, anywhere.
Especially that tiny bearing that runs in the curved slot that is attached to the tps.
Along with other things , that adjustment screw will also affect idle speed.
