Re: No heat
The unit of switches was an exact match and I was told it was working from a member of the forum. Both units function the same - buttons lights up when pressed but no change in direction just blowing at the floor. Car is non-ac model but still has the AC button. Without ripping the entire dash out, ...

Re: No heat
Just had a quick look and feel while the car was running. No movement or sound coming from either module on driver/passenger side. There’s a pair for sale online however it’s postage from Lithuania - is there anything else that could cause these to fail? Thanks

Re: No heat
Thank you! I'm not sure which unit is at fault and I'm beyond bench testing so I am happy to buy any spares you have. Re: No heat
Sounds like the aculator on the heater box has gone can you hear the aculator move when you change to windscreen setting That sounds about right, I don’t hear any movement or activity from behind the dash when the directions are pressed. Have you got an image of the actulator? So I can source one? ...

No heat
Probe 2.0 16v 1995 blue Non-AC model Hi all, Planing on getting the thing back on the road next year, one thing I’d really like this winter is the windscreen to receive air from the heater. I’ve got 1-4 working, hot and cold working, however no directional control. Heat/air only pushes to the footwe...

Re: No hot/cold air
Update: still no joy.
Replaced the dash heater controls yet I’ve still got the same issue:
- unable to change heat direction.
- no matter what button pressed I only get hot/cold to the floor.
1-4 and hot-cold work.
All fuses intact, what else am I looking to replace?
Thanks

1st 1000 miles - few teething issues
1995 probe 2.0/16v Blue Hi all, So end of 2024 and after 18 months of work I got the probe on the road and MOTd. This week it has done its first 1000 miles and I’ve come across some issues that must be all related. 1. Sometimes I have to prime the key/fuel before cranking over otherwise it starts an...

Re: No hot/cold air
You should hear the servos moving the flaps behind the centre console when you press the different air flow buttons. They might be sticky or as said the heater control unit has failed. Unlikely the hoses have come off Thanks mate, Definitely no sounds of movement other than button clicks. Looking f...
