Eventually got back, disconnected the battery, turned on the ignition, re-connected and away she went. Very strange. Thanks for your advice.

Ok, thanks. I'm going over on Wednesday and I'll check that out. There is a small oil leak in that area so maybe it needs a good clean. It turns over great every time. There has never been a problem starting before.

Thanks for the reply. I've never had a problem with anything before. The key has a chip, no actual fob. It ran perfectly from Cardiff to Keynsham on Saturday but now it's stuck in the cricket club car park, which is a little awkward. I don't know where the CPS plug is and my workshop manual is in th...

A few weeks ago she turned over but would not fire. I replaced the Dizzy cap and rotor arm, (a job I had put off for months!). Still no spark. The battery went flat, so after it charged she ran perfectly. This weekend I went to Keynsham for a cricket tour. Car wouldn't start again Sunday evening, so...
