Thanks Trev, will see you in the morning. I checked the fuel cut off and it has not popped but maybe I should remove the trim and check the wiring. It would certainly be good to find out if the pump is working. I don't think it is but not sure how to check for certain. I did have a look at the fuses...

1997 24 valve, 120,000miles. Car came to a dead stop 4 miles into a journey. No sign of life from the fuel pump but it seems to be running with terminals in obd bridged. I have tried re -connecting the cps plug which has worked for me before but no luck this time. Can't get any codes just solid ligh...
