Well there seems to be enough in the system going by checking the rad and expansion tank. But at one point the hose that is deflating did have a leak until another Jubilee clip was added. It was leaking on to the belt causing a noise.

Also noticed that the top hose from the radiator is deflated but goes back to normal after running.

Pulley/bearing issue
I’ve noticed a noisy what seems to be a pulley/bearing issue on my belt. It’s worse on start up but becomes intermittent as the car warms up. The sound is like a grinding sound. Not a screeching sound. I suppose it would be recommended to get this sorted as soon as possible. Saying that a neighbour ...

10w 40 semi synthetic oil. Not sure which brand as my garage have drums of the stuff.

Is this a recommended treatment for a noisy lifter. If so can you just add the treatment? My car has recently had an oil change.
