Re: Scuttle Panel - Paint or Replace
Ooo I’m not 100% sure, I just assumed it was!!
When I get keys cut I’ll take it with me to see if they can see if it’s got a chip in
Cheers

Keys are with the car and I'm not with it at present but will grab photos once back.
Been quoted £45 for a programmed replacement which doesn't seem too bad? thats with a local independent key cutters.

Re: Scuttle Panel - Paint or Replace
I got 2 keys, cut from one broken one and chipped for £75 at Timpsons.
the downside was that the key part isn't long enough to open the boot via the key

Or, you have a broken bit of the Key in the lock
It’s a ‘crossover car’ so it’s Temic System & chipped.
(When I first saw the car, I thought of Becci’s old car

I got mine resprayed professionally and its been OK for six years but I have also seen people regenerating ABS with heat from a heat gun. Worth a try if youve got a spare. It gives instant results but I guess the risk is overdoing it.
