Can i do to get my probe running right again :( :? :(
just carn't find out whats wrong with it :( :? :(
spent another day on it that in total of 71hrs so far
:evil3d: :evil3d: :evil3d:

ITS LOOKING LIKE THE END OF THE ROAD FOR ANOTHER PROBE AND ME AS A PROBE OWNER

Here is a list of what i have done to try and get her to run right again

1, changed dizzy
2, checked moby
3, changed fuel reg
4, changed vaf
5, changed tps
6, changed ecu
7, checked all fuse box wires
8, checked fuses and relays
9, changed cps
10, checked all viruses and cleaned
11, checked all vacuum pipes
12, checked external ignitor
13, changed plugs and leads
14, checked exhaust isn't blocked

still not running right :(

still getting,
she starts but at 3000rpm dies down and tries to tick over
but very lumpy for about 3 to 4 seconds then dies
if i unplug the vaf she will run but rich and rough
but then revs up and down plug the vaf back in
she cuts out,
nothing wrong with the vaf it worked fine on speedy's probe

i think its a wire shorting out in the wiring loom from the ecu
to the engine bay

Have you checked the fuel pressure. I know you changed the regulator.
Your fuel pump may be knackard or there could be a blockage in your fuel lines, or even a block fuel filter.

If it runs with the VAF disconnected, but not with it connected, it has to be the VAF wiring that is at fault.

does sound like a timing issue...maybe only a tooth out which put the exhaust out giving a feeling of being down on one pot and will sooty up the plugs as well!! double check the belt man! good call NUTS
